We lost Dually to renal failure. We are still unsure what exactly led to an infection, fever spikes, laminitis and renal failure.
We had such high hopes for this beautiful colt.......

Marlo makes a grand debut at the regions New England Fall Futurity...winning unanimously in open weanling fillies over a top five APHA world show filly. Now on to the next three futurities! Marlo won again, this time a class of eight tough halter fillies from PA, MD, Canada, NY. She got three firsts and one second. The other first was won by a filly shown by Ray Mackie, a Canadian trainer who has shown MANY APHA world champions! Our excitement knows no bounds! Now on to NJ, and Delaware! Marlo wins again!! New Jersey futurity, unanimously first under four judges! What an exciting fall it has been! Three firsts, one second in our final futurity for 2006! We cannot wait for next year...... Many, many thanks to Andrea Fortkamp, owner of Obviously Im Kiddin, whose quality got us here, he IS consistently stamping them as himself. Thanks to Ron and Denise Orman for their outstanding job getting her ready! |

April 28 - Garden State Paint Horse Club Paint-O-Rama - Circuit Champion Yearling Mare with 4 Firsts. Also 13 youth pts earned May 5 - Del-Mar-VA - Circuit Champion Yearling Mare with 3 firsts and 1 second May 12 - New England Paint Horse Club - Reserve Circuit Champion Yearling Mare and 16 youth pts earned May 24-26 - Syracuse NY Breeders Show - Circuit Champion Paint Mare earning 3 Grands, One reserve July 7-8 - Mullica Hill NJ 6 Judge Youth & Amateur Paint-O-Rama - one first, one second, open yearling mares picking up 1 point. 20 youth points earned under 6 judges in a class of 17! 5 amateur points earned, achieving her Amateur Halter ROM...Marlo's first time placing first place over some tough, mature halter mares July 20-21 - Topsfield MA NEPHC 6 judge Youth & Amateur Paint-O-Rama - two firsts open yearling mares picking up 2 pts. 25 youth points earned!!! Ainsley got her first 1st places over last year's #1 honor roll yearling! Two- 1sts, three- 2nds, one- third out of 17 mares! 17 amateur points earned! Another first place, one 2nd, and four thirds. Zone 7 show, August 4-5 Allentown NJ - one first, four seconds, one third open yearling mares class of four. 18 youth points earned, one- 1st, one- 2nd, one- 3rd, three- 4ths amongst our toughest competition yet! 8 amateur points earned with two second places in a very tough class of mature halter mares, some top five world show competitors....we are thrilled with those second places. And One Reserve Grand we never expected to get in such a tough group of mares! Total points (unofficial) as of October 2nd - 41 Open and Currently #7 Open Honor Roll, 45 Amateur and 120 Youth and currently #2 Youth Honor Roll!!! This filly has earned an incredible 206 points this year! |
